Vicki was looking for a subtle statement in way of a design for her printed splashback. With the kitchen colours already finalised, a design was needed that could work with the existing tones to provide a feature that could stand on its own with overpowering the rest of the kitchen.
With this in mind Vicki decided simplicity was key and settled on a classic 2 colour approach. With the help of the ImagInk design department, a stylish seamlessly tiling pattern was chosen and then printed on glass in white using ImagInk, with the backing colour custom mixed to match the existing Taubmans colour on the walls.
The result is a wonderfully understated design, that curves and flows organically behind the cooktop and appliances adding movement and depth to the entire kitchen. Vicki’s printed splashback stretches over 3 metres in lenth, and the design is even continued behind the computer workstation adjacent to the open plan kitchen and living area!
