We believe regular education and training is crucial to the ongoing development and competitiveness of a strong and competitive industry, and we work closely with the Australian Glass and Glazing Association (AGGA) and the Glass and Window Association of WA (GWA) to ensure all our staff are competent in the latest standards.
We take an active role in nurturing and developing talent, and encourage training and development programs for employees at all levels. We currently have a number of production staff undertaking a Trade Certificate III in Glass Processing, unlike a usual apprenticeship, all training is completed onsite and learning is undertaken at the employees pace online with no class work. We also have our Factory Managers completing a Certificate IV in Frontline management to help the business move forward. Training for new staff can be discussed following the successful completion of a 3-6 month probation period.
