We’ve had a lot of people asking how big the wall is, so to give you an idea of scale we thought we’d post some measurements.
As you can see, the wall consists of 20 panels of varying sizes, 4 wide and 5 high. These panels are structurally glazed to a aluminium framing system that holds the glass around 150mm off the concrete wall that sits behind.
We have a 15mm gap between the panels, where the structural silicone sits, so we will actually be removing a very small portion of the artwork to allow for this gap and ensure all the panels meet up correctly.
The photographed artwork will be with us this monday, so expect a full run down on the photography component and of course a feature on the artwork itself next week.
