Perth artist Rick Vermey designed these engaging printed glass murals for the glazing at the emergency waiting area in the new Bunbury Hospital. Rick approached us to supply our ImagInk ceramic printing process as the preferred method of reproducing his finely detailed artwork onto glass due to the UV stability outdoors and cost effective alternative to adhesive vinyl.
Printed glass artwork
Working closely with our in-house graphic designer, Rick’s artwork was supplied in an EPS file format and scaled up to suit the glass sizes. After sampling for colour approval, the artworks were manufactured in a 11.52mm toughened laminate makeup with the printed design encapsulated withing the two pieces of glass. The artworks create a soothing presence that completes the landscaping while allowing a degree of privacy for the indoor and outdoor areas.
