Our training manager, Neil, likes to do his grocery shopping in a 1959 Cevrolet El Camino. And when you see the car, you can hardly blame him. Just look at it – it’s delicious.
It makes sense that such a delicious looking car should have some delicious windows. So here in the ImagInk department we’ve designed some rather tasty little pieces of glass for Neil and had them printed up, ready to be installed into his pride and joy.
We’ve gone for some classic pin-striping, with text ‘Fallen Angel’ along the lower edge tying in nicely with an illustration supplied by Neil. We’ve kept a simple red and white colour scheme to match the car.
Neil had his designs printed on Super Grey, a tinted glass that makes limo tint look light in comparison. Neil also kindly let us print the ImagInk logo and blog address in the corner for some free plugging. Nice!
As the grey glass is so dark, the printed surface wouldn’t show up if it were on the inside of the car. So we have put the print on the outside of the glass, and thanks to the durability of the print there won’t be any problems with fading or discolouration.
We’ll get some snaps up of the printed glass in situ once it’s done!
