You may remember a while ago we posted about the Oxford Youth Foyer, a project we were working on with local artist Pamela Gaunt. While the rest of the project is still under construction, Pam’s printed glass facade has now been installed, and the unique flat light system that is designed to illuminate specific areas of the design has passed initial testing. Currently the flat lights are undergoing programming tests before they are fully operational, we have been told it is in the coming weeks, and just quietly we cannot wait to see the whole facade up and fully operational. In the interim, we have posted some installation photos detailing our involvement in this fantastic and technically challenging project, and if you get down to 196 Oxford St, Leederville you should be able to get a glimpse of Pam’s printed glass facade for yourself. Otherwise watch this space and we’ll be sure to let you know once the lights are operational!
