The new headquarters for Mineral Resources Limited (MinResHQ) is a peerless showcase of the very latest building techniques, harmonised to create a unique working environment. Guided by the International WELL Building Standards, the new building at Osborne Park, WA aims to set a new Australian standard for employee wellbeing. MinResHQ is one of only 120 buildings worldwide to be awarded the coveted Platinum WELL Building Standard, a testament to the vision behind it.
Designed in accordance with the key wellness areas of Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind, and Community, MinResHQ is a landmark construction with a compassionate goal to elevate the wellbeing of those who work within its walls.
Sean Creighton, Managing Director of Façade Management Australia Pty. Ltd., discusses his company’s role on this innovative project, including the detailed collaborative process with Cooling Bros.‘We worked on the façade for the new MinResHQ, which we fabricated and manufactured off-shore,’ he says. ‘We were also contracted to complete the internal glazing, balustrades (complete with a hand-finished timber handrail running throughout the building), internal partitions, canopy, and automatic doors for the new facility, collaborating closely with Cooling Bros.’
